It certainly doesn’t feel like Spring right now, but cottage fever is in full effect! And there’s no better place for folks in the Ottawa area to get their inspiration than the Cottage Life & Backyard Show.

Are you and your family thinking of building a new custom cottage? Or are you back and forth, trying to decide if your current place just needs a facelift or if it’s time to start from scratch? Either way, The Ottawa Cottage Life and Backyard Show is the perfect place for you to meet and get to know the companies that could make your cottage dreams come true.

What are we planning to check out at this year’s show?

The Escape the hectic city; how to secure that dream cottage, presentation at 1pm on Friday. A panel of real estate experts will discuss how to secure the land to make your cottage dreams come true

On Saturday, at 1:30, you can check out Simon Hirsh and Marshall Black, Hosts of Lake Docks & Decks, in discussion with Editor-in-Chief of Cottage Life magazine, Michelle Kelly, as they give expert tips on creating the perfect dock for your property.

And, with our penchant at Normerica for energy efficiency, we’re looking forward to the How Solar Power can Brighten your Cottage presentation on Sunday at 2pm. For a full listing of all of the main stage events, click here.

As always, fantastic members of the Normerica Team will be there to answer your questions, show you a sample of our standard designs, and see how we can work with you to create your ideal custom home or cottage. We hope you’ll stop in and visit us in booth 628. For all the event information, ticket prices, and location, visit the Cottage Life & Backyard Show website.
