Welcome to ‘Blog, Post & Beam’; the brand new blog of Normerica Timber Frame homes! We wanted to share with you what inspired us to start a blog (and what inspires us everyday).
We believe that the idea of that perfect home is a dream that lives in the hearts of many of us. In a world that is increasingly stressful and ever changing, the need for a refuge and the sense of permanence and security that comes from a home custom built for you, grows stronger everyday.
All of us, at some point in our lives, have stepped into such a home and experienced a feeling of ease and well-being. A sense of harmony and integrity that seems designed right into the fabric of the structure. It may be generations old, or if new, looks as though it will last forever.

We think something special happens when that home is built of wood. And we think there’s something special about living in a home built of wood.
